The origin of Vertical Sky
Our company was born from a single, powerful idea: that mountain climbing should be a force for good, empowering local guides and porters, supporting environmental conservation, and creating experiences with meaning.

It all started with Graham Noble, his son, Jenson and Zidane Juma, passionate outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers and an extremely experienced mountain guide.
Motivated by a chance encounter with Zidane (lovingly known as Zizu) who shared his dream of a better life, Graham decided to do more than just climb the mountain, he wanted to create a movement.

Together, they envisioned a company that put ethics, community, and safety at the core of every expedition. That seed of an idea grew into Vertical Sky, a company dedicated to not only helping climbers reach new heights but also helping local communities rise.
